Connoisseurs Corner
Over the years I have had a lot of pleasure with the not so common colours within the breed, purely for myself to enjoy and hopefully helping to improve the quality along the way. These colours are not often liked by many breeders or judges, and the quality is often not as good from a show point of view as the more popular “normal” colours you see, but with careful selective breeding and importing from well known show winning breeders overseas I believe I have succeeded in my ambition to produce lovely quality coloured dogs that can compete on all levels with good results. Enjoy this page and see what you think…
Below you will see three generations of stunning lads, starting with my wonderful imported German boy “William”, then his outstanding son Multi Champion Claramand Master of Dreams, and on the right his Grandson the gorgeous young Wooster..lower down you will see some of the lovely girls from these lines, I intend to continue with these colours as they give me such pleasure and are great fun to live with.
After the chocolate area you will come to the fantastic area for the most disliked colour in the breed, to me the stunning “Sable”, not recognised by our kennel club any more but still loved by many people around the World, sadly so abused by Puppy farmers and Commercial breeders that it destroyed their reputation and it became impossible for the few of us who had good ones to show them any more. My boy Lucas [Logan] made history by becoming the first Grand Champion, a fabulous dog from any angle, much loved by all who knew him.
