About Us

We are situated near to Melton Mowbray, a small country town nestled in beautiful countryside, with access to most motorways taking approximately 30 – 45 minutes by car.

My affix “Claramand” is a mixture of my daughters names and has belonged to me for more years than I care to remember, I have dedicated my life to the breed and hope to continue to breed lovely healthy puppies for others to enjoy. With the development of DNA testing for Hereditary problems I am very pleased that with selective breeding I have a Clear kennel of these problems.

Claramand has produced English Cocker Spaniel Show Champions in the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, United States of America, Sweden, Finland, Australia, Portugal, Croatia, Mexico, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Austria, Sweden, Norway and various other countries, also my lines have produced top winning stock World wide.

Claramand Cocker Spaniels are also living in Show & Pet Homes in Denmark, Dubai, Germany, Bermuda, France, Belgium, Croatia, Switzerland, Norway, The Channel Islands, Holland and Poland.

One of my boys sired The Top Winning Cocker for 2007 and 2008 The Europa Winner is also one of my boys.

The black cocker winning the most CC’s on record was sired by one of my boys.

Over the years I have shown and bred many CC and Res. CC winners. Girls and boys sired by my dogs are being shown and consistently winning CC’s and Res. CC’s, at home and abroad, also CACIB and Res. CACIB abroad. I wish all those with my breeding every success for the future.

As for myself, well my life has been dedicated to trying to breed the healthiest, happy puppies that I can. As a full member of the Kennel Club I take all my breeding seriously and am proud of what I have done for the breed over the years.
